Stress - Less
~ A Mindfulness Meditation Program
Learn how to lower your stress, find joy in your day-to-day life and boost your health without taking a pill!
Mindfulness is “paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, without judgment.” It's a way to be fully engaged in your life so that you're not simply reacting to situations or living in the past, instead you're actively creating the life you want right now.
This Mindfulness Course is based on the work of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine who has researched guided mindfulness meditation practices with proven clinical outcomes. You will learn and practice several approaches to mindfulness including the body scan meditation, mindful eating, sitting meditation with mindful breathing, and mindful movement. Home practice is required and optimizes the benefits. Course materials will be provided.
